HOPPY EASTER

We had a wonderful Easter holiday in Moab. We spent Easter weekend in Moab again as we do every year with our best friends and their kids. We LOVE going to moab and spending time with all of them and this year Faith just ran around and played with her buddies, Raegan, Renlee, and Ryker.

We drove down on Friday morning and returned home the next Monday night. The weather was really nice for the most part and instead of going over to our other friends home and joining another 20 kids and 30 plus adults we kept it low key and did our own eater egg hunt at Rachel and Rory's home (were we stay when we go to Moab).

We had about 300 candy filled egg's and kids went wild. Owen was so funny! He was all for it running and picking up all the colored egg's but when one of them cracked open and he saw the candy fall out that was the end of it. He just wanted to sit down and eat all the candy, it was so funny! Faith took off on her own this year and filled her basket till it was over flowing and she couldn't hold any more. They had a great time together.

Thanks Rach and Rory for the good times and for always taking such good care of us and opening your home to our family. We love the company, the food and your friendship. You guys are the best!

Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail........

Faith painted Easter Eggs for the first time this year. She loved it and wanted to carry the basket of eggs around the house the whole rest of the day (lovely). She wanted to eat them every day after as well so each morning she would have her "whole egg mom" and then we made some egg sandwiches before going to Moab. She is so much fun to do things with now. She is at a really fun age.

Ouch!

If any of you see Faith walking around with a black eye please don't call Social Services on us, we would NEVER hurt our babies.

Faith and one of her favorite cousin's, Ryker Mangum, were having a blast and taking turns jumping on a "luv sack" at Ryker's home and as Faith rolled to get off her buddy Ryker jumped and the heel of his foot hit her right in the eye on the bone right under her eye, OUCH!

She cried for a bit and we gave her some medicine to help the swelling and pain. It was a nice goose egg that lasted about two weeks and it now looks a lot better. Poor little thing.

She is strong and doing well, mom always has to take pictures so she can look back and see that life will some times throw us curve balls but we get through them.
