Our Buddy Bullet

The kids LOVE to visit our horse Bullet and see the dogs, Ringo & Rowdy too. Faith will mention to me every once and a while that she misses Bullet. It is so cute! Now that the weather is getting warmer the kids get to tag along and play. We all love being out in the wide open fields, kicking up dust!

Very Special Date

Two years ago on March 12th 2007 my husband and I were in Taiwan picking up our beautiful daughter Faith. It was one of the most amazing days of our lives. She has continued to brighten and lighten up our days every day since. We are the luckiest parents alive. To celebrate this special date we took Faith and Owen to play at the Children's Museum at The Gateway and then laid on the grass outside enjoying the wonderful sunshine and sharing treats we picked up just for Faith. Owen and Faith loved to watch the fountain and dance to the music. We had a wonderful day as a family and we count our many blessing each and every day.

"We love you baby girl".

A special gift for our girl

Lindsay bought Faith a Chinese cat, you place it on your dresser in your room and it brings you Good Luck all year long.

HOPE'S HOME

Baby Home and Safe House, Lusaka, Zambia, Africa

Since its creation, For Every Child’s commitment to humanitarian efforts that benefit children has been a driving force of the organization. To date, our humanitarian projects have been fully funded by agency funds and small donations from adoptive families. In an effort to control adoption costs in way that supports the lowest costs possible to adoptive families seeking to provide safe, loving homes to orphaned children, For Every Child has donated tens of thousands of dollars to projects in Taiwan, Haiti and the U.S. Projects that support the care and safety of children. We believe that every child, regardless of background history or circumstances deserves to find the permanency of family in their lives.

With the support of a number of Zambian citizens who have worked within the social service departments of the Zambian government and private organizations, For Every Child has been enlisted to assist in the building of a baby home safe house within the “compound” inner city of Lusaka, Zambia. Due to poverty and HIV, many newborns are left abandoned in the front of local churches, in parks, or left to die at home with no food or medical care. The hope of building a safe place for women to leave their infants when they are unable to care for them has been a long time hope of the For Every Child family.

We know that with our support, commitment, hard work and funding we can begin saving the lives of infants in this poverty impacted and HIV stricken area of Africa.
For Every Child continues to serve children and families as we fulfill our mission statement that all children have the right to a loving family, safety, education and the medical care they need.

"Damin 's mom, damin's"

Faith has been asking to get her ears pierced for 6 months now and so I finally woke up one morning and just decided to go get it done. I always thought that when she started school I would see if she wanted them at that time and then take her. I always figured she was a little to young but she always plays with her mom's and tells me how pretty they are. She kept saying she wanted some too. I thought it would pass but she was set on it. I asked her if she wanted diamonds or pearls. She said "damin's mom, damin's". I didn't think she even knew what either of them were. It was so funny. She did really well and on the way out of the mall she looked at me and pulled her hair back and said "look at my damin's mom". She was the cutest!

Lookin good!

Dance Fever

Faith started dance class at Excel Dance Studio in Layton. Her teacher, Ericka Roberts, is in our ward and we know some of the other adorable girls in her class as well. She absolutely LOVES it! She is so cute and gets so excited! Owen loves to watch her dance through the big window in the foyer. They are the cutest little girls and they have so much fun together.
