Dancing Queen

Faith LOVES to dance! I hope her passion stays with her, she could be amazing! This morning after getting ready she wanted me to take a few pictures of some of her "poses". I didn't know she had any ;) Funny how kids are some times. She is adorable!

One Windy Day!

The kids always beg to go see their best friend Bullet. During the winter months we are lucky to go once or twice. It is so cold and not fun being in the mud (at least for mom). As Spring arrives we can not wait to go down weekly and visit. We had told Owen and Faith that we would try and go see Bullet one Saturday. It was over cast and rain was coming our way. We didn't want to disappoint so we got up, got ready and headed to the farm. It was SO windy! So not fun! We walked out to the farm, dad and Owen took some carrots out to lower Bullet in so we could saddle up and ride for a bit. Faith and I waited, and waited, and waited. It was so cold we took a seat in the barn on the hay. Then we waited and waited some more. Bullet wanted nothing to do with us today. The kids were getting so cold and the wind was taking my breath away. Needless to say we spend maybe 30 minutes there and headed home. Maybe next time!

Oops!

Table #1: received as a wedding gift almost 14yrs ago.

Table #2: Owen and Lindsay built and brought it in the home a month ago. Needed something a little bigger with the new baby coming.

Table #3: Why? because the big heavy granite one tipped over and crashed, cracking all over the floor. Oops!!!!!!!! It was a nice idea anyways. Our new table seats 8 comfortable and it's just what we needed. Funny how things work out ;)

The Bulge and the Beautiful!

Sooooo, here we go again! I have blogged about every baby and because I will print and keep my blogging as a scrapbook/journal It's only fair that I include the journey of our little Lia.
They aren't the best pictures, I kept forgetting to take them and it would have helped to be in the same shirt as I was with Owen but this will have to do.

This has not been a very easy pregnancy for me. I'm a big wimp! I was sick again the first trimester and the only thing that would help was to eat, eat, and eat some more. Just like with Owen (hence why I blow up like a balloon). Second trimester is always the best. When I hit third trimester, OH BOY! Everything started earlier with this one. I never had it to bad with Owen until 7-8 months. I didn't even feel contractions with Owen until I was at a four. This little lady is giving me a run for my money though. She has been kicking me since 4 months, and now at this point with only three weeks to go she is about to kick herself right out of my tummy. She is SO strong and it can hurt at times. I started getting heartburn at 5 months, my back and legs began to hurt at 7 months, I started to swell at 7 1/2 months, I am WAY to big already (weighing the same weight now as I did when I delivered Owen and I was HUGE!, am HUGE!). Charley Horses have started this week, I jump out of bed in the mornings to walk around. The sleeping has become uncomfortable at 7 months and on and on. I started showing right away with this one and everything seemed to hit me a few months earlier this time. I am at the point where I can no longer fit in any of the maternity clothes I bought for this journey and I am not about to buy more so I am waiting it out. I am SO uncomfortable in my clothes, I can't breath, I can't walk, if I bend over it cuts off my airway and I have to hurry. Last night my feet were SO sore from going grocery shopping and my skin feels like it has stretched to it's capacity! I am DONE! I have until Easter but this little lady better come in a few weeks or I might be in a wheelchair, ha! No kidding!

It's has been amazing to say the least, now it's time to begin the next phase of bringing her home. I CAN'T WAIT!

I know it will be hard and take some adjusting but I also realize in time I will have my body back, can play and run with my kids, can breath, can fit in my clothes, and Lia will be growing and on her own schedule and life will feel some what normal again. awwwwwwwww! Can't come soon enough!

Top'o the mornin to ya!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We had a fun day learning of the Irish and the little leprechaun people. The kids are always so cute and they are what makes every holiday, even the simple one's, so much fun!
"PINCH, PINCH"

4yrs

On March 12th we had a nice little dinner with Grandpa and Grandma Bott and Grandpa and Grandma Workman to celebrate the day we brought Faith into our lives. We try and celebrate in a small way every year her "Adoption Day" by having some of her favorite people over for a Chinese dinner and then we learn something of her culture and make a craft.

We are SO thankful for this little lady in our lives and can not beleive it has already been 4 years. YAY!

Sadly, mom forgot to take pictures this year so we have to settle on the few I did get :(

Tea Party

On a nice Friday afternoon I took my sweet little lady with me to meet some of the most amazing women in my life, along with their little ladies, and we shared an afternoon of tea. It was so much fun! It was a beautiful place, beautiful music, wonderful food, and good conversation. It was so much fun to see all the little girls in their dresses and hat's (thank you for the cute hat mom). It was a special mom and daughter date and Faith absolutely loved everything about it! She is my best little friend and we love spending quality time together. She is so sweet and well behaved, I love taking her places and being with her (of course). She is defiantly heaven sent and HE knew what he was doing, all this time, always has, always will. Love my baby girl!

Disney On Ice

We had SO much fun with our kids last week at Disney On Ice. They loved it and want to go back soon! Owen just loved the ending with all the Toy Story cast. What a magical and fun night! I love having kids!

Aquarium

We took the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium again and I was hoping it would be bigger and more exciting this time, not so much. It was exactly the same. The kids still had fun, I just don't think it's worth the cost and it only takes an hr to go through the whole exhibit. Bummer!

I wana be a cowboy, and you can be my cowgirl!

Owen has been so funny lately. I think it all has to do with his pal, Cowboy Woody. Every time we go to visit our horse Bullet he has to wear his boots and cowboy hat. The other day he kept following me around the house as we were getting ready to go to the farm telling me I couldn't go because I don't have cowgirl boots, he was dead serious too.
Then he started to tell me the other day when he and Faith put on their boots and hats that I needed to get a pink cowgirl hat, um, ok!
He LOVES his hat and wears it around the house shooting things (bad guys) with his gun. Oh how I love kids!
