It's A Boy!

We went to the doctor today to find out what our baby was going to be: Alien, Monkey, Girl or Boy? To our huge surprise "IT'S A BOY!". We were so shocked! We both had strong feelings this whole time that we would be having a girl. I dreamt last night that we went to the doctor and it was a boy but that has been the only sign and I thought I dreamt that because I wanted it to be a boy deep down inside.

It was clear as day on the ultra sound screen. Daddy is proud! Lindsay was so excited I think I saw a tear or two stream out of his eye's. We are both so excited! Faith is going to have a body guard when they both get into High School. What fun! I can't wait to start the nursery now.

We have decided already to name him Owen. We had a name and a nursery idea picked out for a boy but nothing at this time for a girl. Strange but some how meant to be.

I am 19 weeks along this weekend and have been able to feel Owen move for two weeks now, he is a very active one. Last month when I went in for my last appointment they determined I was 3 weeks further along then they had originally thought. My due date is now Feb 17th (one week before my birthday).

Things are going really well! Life is good!

Darn Cute Baby!

What do those cute pajama's you're wearing say? You betcha!

What an adorable little girl, growing up so fast! Faith is modeling her new PJ's we bought her while in Jackson Hole last weekend. So cute!

Movie Time

Faith's first real movie. After breakfast she snuggled down into her bean bag and cuddled up with her blanket and watched a good 30 minutes of her movie. This is the longest the TV has ever held her attention. I don't want her to get use to it but it was fun for us both (as I was able to get some dishes done). Good Times!

Jackson Hole Wyoming

More pic's of our nice trip!

Star Valley Wyoming

We spent last weekend up at my families cabin in Thayne, WY on Star Valley Ranch. We drove up Friday night when Lindsay got off of work. It's about a 3 1/2 hr drive, not bad. Faith does well traveling most of the time.

We woke up on Saturday and ate at one of our favorite places in Wyoming, The Cheese Factory. We then drove to the Teton National Park to walk through the visitor center and see some of the old Mormon barns (there are famous pictures/art of these barns with the Teton Mountain's behind them). We drove through the park and took some fun pictures and then went into Jackson Hole and did some shopping and eating. The weather was SO NICE!

Then we drove back to Thayne and went to visit some of our good friends, the Robert's (Alan, Katie, Remington, Adelaide and Drake). They moved up to Etna back in June and will be farming their families land and building a new home. It is such a beautiful place. We love visiting. Faith had a good time with the kids and we had a nice dinner on the patio (what a view).

The next morning we ate breakfast at the cabin and as I cleaned up the cabin to head home Lindsay watched the Denver Bronco's football game against the Buffalo Bills, what a game! Denver won bye a field goal at the last second. It was amazing!!!!!!!!

After the game we went to the Robert's home for lunch and said our good bye's. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Can't wait to go back!

Utah State Fair

Last week we went to the State Fair with our friends, the King family. Faith loved the animals and being with Olivia and JJ. It was a perfect night. We had some goodies, watched the rodeo, walked and saw all the animals, and the kids even road on the pony's. Faith and JJ kept trying to pet their pony and loved every minute of it (so cute).

Faith also had her very first hot dog. She got a bit hungry and mom only had boring o'l crackers and water in her bag. I tried to consider which item at the fair would be best for my little girl to eat (none). She hasn't had any fried foods, candy, etc. much yet. We bought her a corn dog and she didn't go for the breading but she sure liked the hot dog part.

We had a swell time! Thanks again for the good evening, King's.

Baby #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In case you don't already know, we are expecting baby #2! We have had our darling baby girl for 6 months now and four months after bringing her home we found out we were expecting a baby. I was already 2 months along when finding out and am now just over 4 months. We will find out the sex of our baby on October 1st (can't wait!). We were in serious shock when finding out and could not believe it! It just confirmed everything for Lindsay and I. We know more then ever we needed to bring home our baby girl before having a baby of our own. To us Faith is our own and we can't imagine life with out her. She is such miracle. We love her so much and we are so excited to give her a little sister or bother. She will be the best big sister ever!

WOW!

I wanted to post the funny pictures we started taking at month two. We are going to take a picture each month until the baby is born to see how my tummy grows and how I change. Lindsay think's it's silly of me to post them but WHO CARES! I am showing at this point and love my belly, I wana share it with the world! NOT! Here it goes, look at me grow.............

Hogle Zoo

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a nice weekend. Faith and I spent Friday shopping with the gals from 11:30 AM until 7:30 PM. Then when we arrived home we went out to dinner with dad and bought Faith a wagon that she will some day share with baby #2, it has two little seat's with a nice canape for shade. On Saturday we had a family baptism in Bountiful for our nephew Ethan Workman. It was a nice meeting and then we had a nice lunch and celebrated his birthday as well. Not all the time can a young man be baptised the same day as his birthday, it was nice. We then rented some movies and spent a nice relaxing night at home together. Sunday we took Faith for a little walk in her new wagon. We again just hung out at home and took it easy. Lindsay was bucked off his horse a few times last week and his back has been killing him, he was blue from head to toe. We thought we would let dad take it easy for a day. Monday we headed to the zoo. This was Faith's first time to the Zoo. We arrived at about 10:30 AM and saw all the animals, took a ride on the train and had lunch. Faith was pooped at 2:30 PM so we headed home. Once she took her nap and had a nice dinner we went out and did some more shopping. This time for dad (new clothes) and then to the grocery story (always fun). We had a nice weekend and Faith and I are bummed dad has to go back to work tomorrow and can't just play all week with us. Oh-well! This weekend we head up to the Bott's Family cabin (my parent's) by Jackson Hole Wyoming to play a bit more and see some of our friends who live up that way, so we can't complain to much. Another vacation on the horizon! Love it!

Grandma Workman's Birthday Lunch @ Gardners's Village

I took my mother in-law, Marilyn, out to lunch at Archibald's restaurant at Gardner's Village and then some shopping. We meet with my sister in-law, Meri, and her two adorable little boy's. My other sister in-law, Beckie, and her beautiful daughter Lacey. We ate lunch and Beckie and Lacey had to leave so me, Marilyn and Meri spent the rest of the day shopping. The kids did pretty good I must say although Faith wanted nothing to do with the cute Halloween hat's I kept trying to put on her. She is so wiggly and all over the place, not to mention she has a mind of her own now that she is 1. She thinks she is so big and really likes to tease her mom a lot. We had a nice day!

There is a story behind the cookie Lincoln is eating. This isn't just a sweet innocent little boy eating a yummy cookie at the bakery. As the girls were chatting and having a drink at one of the tables, Lincoln began to explore. We weren't paying much attention, there wasn't hardly anyone else in the bakery with us at the time so it was OK. He was roaming about and then his mom spotted him and started to laugh. Marilyn and I asked "what?". Meri said "um, Lincoln is eating a big cookie he found off the floor". He looked so cute and was just enjoying himself. Munching away on his cookie. It was to late now so Meri let him enjoy. He thought he scored big time......he-he!

Reading Time

Faith and I sat down to read for a little bit. I gave her a magazine to flip through as I try and relax a bit on the other coach and catch up on some of my own reading. This is how Faith reads, one page at a time, rip, rip, rip..........
