A Day At The Park

Each month all the Workman girls and all the Hardy girls get together at someones home or at a park for lunch (now that the weather is much nicer. The Hardy's are my husband's cousin's. There are six Hardy girls plus all of their little one's and it is so fun to get together and see them all. Some of my favorite things; girl talk, kids, and food.

The family is growing at a rapid rate this year. We have had four new babies in the last 7 months and four more to come in the next 5 months (Meri I am just waiting for your announcement, he-he!).

It has been fun to see all the babies, we can't wait for the rest of them to come along and join the pack!

Owen's Blessing

We had such a wonderful Sunday! The sun was shinning and our little man Owen was blessed in our church. We had our friends and family come and share in our happiness. He is growing SO FAST and is such a smiley little guy. He looked especially handsome in his little blessing outfit.

We love our friends and family so much and we are so grateful we were able to share Owen's special day with them all. It was quiet the turn out and we are so glad that everyone was able to fit in our church for the blessing. Our ward has grown so much and is about to split for the third time in the last three years. It's crazy where we live. So many new homes going in every where. Not to mention we have at least two babies born a week in our ward so Owen also shared his special day with two beautiful baby girls.

In the last 4 months there has been at least 12 baby girls born in the ward and one little boy, our Owen. He is going to have his pick of the litter when he gets a wee bit older, he-he!

It was an amazing day and his dad did a wonderful job giving Owen his special blessing from his Heavenly Father. The weather was beautiful and we were able to open the doors and let everyone sit out in the yard at our home after for a nice lunch.

Thank you to all those who helped make Sunday so wonderful and for coming to see our little man. We are so blessed, I can't say it enough!

Girls!

Faith has a little cousin named Ethney (my sister Vicki's little girl). They live a block away from us and we go over to play all the time, we love it!

Ethney and Faith are exactly 4 months apart and it is so funny to watch them play together.

Ethney will scream or push Faith and Faith will run in fear. I am trying to teach her to stand up to Ethney and take it like a lady. They have their moments when they laugh and play together, it is so cute. But it is funny to watch the both of them share, be friends, learn, and grow together. They are so funny!

Picture Crazy!

OK, I am going to try not to post every picture I take of my adorable kids. I will keep all those for their scrap books and not bore you all. I just can't help it though. I am so picture happy! Sorry............

Spring Cleaning

Last weekend we started to clean up the yard. There is always work to be done when you own a home. Faith LOVES being outside. She loves to follow her dad around and help as well. She is such a curious one (like all kids). She is so good natured and listens well. She is learning and growing so much. She always amazes me with her smarts and sweet smile. She is such a sweet girl. We have so much fun as a family working together.

This last picture is my fav. I walked out side and Faith was bustin a move to the music playing in her dad's truck. It was so cute! I caught her in action!

The Kiddo's

I keep trying to take some really good pic's of my little one's but they always turn out a little funny. Owen is almost as big as his older sister and has some luscious lip action going on in some of the pic's. Faith loves to "cheese" for the camera and not look at her mom when she wants her too. I just can't get it right!

Here or a few of my test shot's. I need a good one to take into my midwife/doctor who delivery of our adorable baby boy. She wants one of both of them together. I may have to go to the professionals if I can't get this down.

My two angels!

"Deal or No Deal"

So get this......... I am officially crazy!

Last Saturday April 12th, I drug my family to RC Willey's in down town Salt Lake City to go to a casting call for the show "Deal or No Deal".

I woke bright and early to get the kiddo's ready and we were off. We got there at about 9:15 AM and right as we pulled up to the front Faith threw up all over herself in the back of the car. We pulled to the side, cleaned her and the car up and then went out our business. Faith wasn't sick I think something she ate wasn't sitting well in her tummy was all. She was chipper and her normal self the rest of the day.

Any how. We got there and I took the baby and walked to the end of the line. Lindsay parked the car and came along after me with Faith and a chair for me to sit in. I was going to have to nurse the baby through out the day (AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!).

Well. The line was intimidating. I kept asking myself why I was there. I kept looking at my two adorable children and thinking I was insane and crazy to have my two month old baby out there and not to mention nursing in front of the world. I kept talking to my wonderful husband about it for like 15 minutes. Asking him if I was crazy, if we should leave, if it was worth it and so on. I almost wanted him to say "let's go" so I would have an out. He was such a trooper though and stayed bye my side all day and helped with the kids.

We met a lot of really cool people in line and became fabulous friends for the day. We were in line for 6 1/2 hrs. Yup! 6 1/2. I would stand in line with Faith at times or the baby and then Lindsay would switch with me while the other one sat on the chair to the way side. We took turns standing and also with the kids to feed them and what not. The kids were excellent. I fed Owen about three times while we were there and he did wonderful! He never cried. Faith was SO good as well. She played with dad, met new people, had lunch, took a 30 minute nap and smiled all the while. She never got moody and on the way home she even sat in the back of the car singing. I couldn't believe it. They were excellent!!!!!!!

Well as the day went on we waited 3 1/2 hrs outside and when we finally reached the building the line continues but you couldn't see this from outside so you had no idea that it would be another 3 hrs. After waiting that long Lindsay and I decided we were in it for the long hall. We made it through the day and then it was our chance. I asked Lindsay to try and get casted too. He was there and we would have double the chance so why not? He filled out an application and we both went for it. He was cut in the first interview and I made it through 3 interviews and then got the cut. One of our buddies made it on to the 4th round though (YIPPEE!!!!!).

So........ Neither one of us made it on the show but after all of that we thought it was a pretty fun day. Pretty hilarious actually. I couldn't believe I did that. You only live once though. The next day we both sat on the couches and thought to ourselves it all seemed like a crazy dream. Over so quickly!

That day will go down in history for me. NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby Girl

Just some cute pictures of our adorable little lady!

Time For Change

Faith and I both went to visit my sister Sonia, it was time for a new dew..... "Thanks Soni, we love our new hair!"

Faith cut 4 inches, what a babe!

Mom went a little darker and cute 3 inches of the bottom and did some chunky layers. You can't really tell much in this photo but it's the only pic I have at this point. Good Times!
