Girls Weekend!

Last weekend myself and four other close girlfriends all went to Mesquite Nevada for a girls weekend. We drove down on Friday and spent the day shopping and eating in St. George. We arrived at Casa Blanca in Nevada around 7 PM and played all night. Saturday most of us spent the day in the spa and by the pool relaxing. Then that night all the girls were at it again, playing and having a good time (some until 3:30 AM). Sunday we headed home stopping to shop some more in St. George. It was a fun little weekend and it was SO nice to get away for a bit from the every day grind. Glad to be home again though with my darling daughter and husband.

Cutest Kido's In The World

Need I say more...........

A Huntin We Will Go

Even with a broken foot my husband makes me pack up and haul two little ones to the mountains so he can hunt.... WHAT THE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We drove 6 hrs to the Lasal mountains in Moab to camp and hunt with our friends, then another 6 hrs home. Thank goodness our kids sleep most of the drive.

It was nice weather for the first two days and then terrible weather the last two. It was so wet and muddy we all had to stay in our campers. It was a joke for me to hobble around with my two kids all day on my broken foot as well. I will NEVER do that again.

Lindsay had a good time and LOVES being out in the mountains with his buddies. They didn't get anything (missed some and the two that were hit jumped a fence onto private property). All is well. A few weeks ago all three of the guys got their deer all on the same day though, that's enough meat for the year I think (eek!).

Because I was in such a chipper mood I only took a few pictures. I had to take the one of my little Owie asleep in his bouncer. It was so darn cute!

DUH!

Well I've gall darn gone and done it!

I was walking to my neighbor's home last month for dinner, salad and tongs in hand. As I was walking along whistling a nice tune I stumbled a bit and thought "gosh I hope no one saw that", he-he! I had rolled my foot in my shoe. I didn't fall or lose any of the food, thank goodness! I stopped on the grass though and took off my sandal to see if I was OK and rube my foot. It was hurting like a mother (how ever that hurt's). Any how.... I continued to my neighbor's house to enjoy some good company and food and all the while I was in so much pain I thought I was going to die. They were so kind and got me a bag of ice to put on my foot and also helped serve me some food. Then my other neighbor gave me a ride home. I elevated my foot all night with ice thinking I just sprained my ankle or something, NOPE! The next morning I could walk. OUCH!!!!!!!!!

Lindsay took me into the doctor and sure enough I broke my foot. GOOD TIMES! I have to wear an air-cast for 8 weeks, the first 3 weeks I was told to use crutches. That lasted about an hour. There was no one with two little one's under 2 years old. Well, I went in for my two week check-up today and the doc said it is healing much faster then he thought but that I still have 6 more weeks. I told him I hadn't been using the crutches and I was taking the air-cast off at night. He said to be careful on it but that I must start wearing the cast at night.

Well, if all goes well it will be off on October 16th (the day I have our family pictures scheduled for, thank goodness!).

Here's to having a little bounce in my step, never again and NO MORE HEALS!!!!!

Street Party

We were invited to hang with my older sister Sonia and her kids at a Bountiful Street Party. It was a blast. Everyone brought something to share (a treat) and the band played all night long. It was great!

Faith Turns 2 Years Old

On August 27th we invited our family and close friends over to help us celebrate Faith's birthday. Our little lady is now 2 years old! We can not believe it, she is such a darling and sweet little 2 year old. We love her so much!

On the evening of that night we also lite a candle in honor of Faith's birth mother Kia-Ling. We love her and will always be forever blessed and grateful!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!
