Awwww Valentine's

This year I tried to keep thing's inexpensive so I bought the kids and Lindsay something small and then made them a Valentine's breakfast. It was SO yummy! Faith was surprised when she woke up and really happy and excited to see that she got suckers. Every time we go to the store she wants a sucker and some times we can't find any, we walk and walk and walk the store until we do. I have no idea where she got this love for suckers. Any how........ I of course was SPOILED as always. I'm not a girl who likes jewelry, flowers, and nor do I need any more candy so Lindsay has started a tradition it seems. The last few years he has gotten me this same thing and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I get a half day at the spa. It is 5 hrs of nothing but the best treatment in the world. He watches the kids and I get to go and relax! Last time I was prego and they couldn't push as hard or do as much to me when it came to the massage so I am REALLY looking forward to this one. YIPPEE!!!

We then went out shopping to find a dresser for Owen's birthday and then went and had a yummy dinner, as a family, at an Indian Restaurant we found called Kasbah Grill. It was a very nice atmosphere and really good food. We will defiantly be going back there again soon.

We had a wonderful time together.

Owen Turns "1"

We had a fun birthday party for Owen on February 13th at our home. All his favorite people came to see him. His birthday is on Valentine's but because we figured everyone would be out celebrating we had his lil party the night before. Faith really gets into the party thing now and loves to sing "Happy Birthday" to everyone. Faith and I made a football cake for Owen (which he didn't really dig into all that much) but the family sure enjoyed finishing it all up for him.

I can't believe a year has already flown bye. It all seems like just yesterday when we were meeting him for the very first time in the hospital. He is now such a little man walking around the house. Time for another one I guess (ha ha!).

First Hair Cut

Well it was time...... I kepy cutting the hair around Owen's ears so that he wouldn't look so funny but he started growing a tail in the back and I couldn't handle that one, so we went to visit aunt Sonia. She gave Owen his first hair cut the week of his 1st birthday. He looks SO handsome :)

Chinese New Years Celebration

Once again we met with all of our friends and celebrated the Chinese New Year with all the cute kiddos from Taiwan. Each year we do this as well as our Summer Reunion in Moab. It is so great to get all the kids and families together. We love seeing everyone!

Best Friends

Faith and Ethney are so fun to watch, they are either screaming and chasing eachother trying to take each others toys away or they are lovin and hugin on each other. Good times!

Creating Good Habits

Lindsay has taken it upon himself to teach our children good eating habits. Help us all!

Beggers

This is what we do all day at the Workman home. Eat, eat, and eat........ Now that Owen can walk he follows Faith right into the kitchen all day long asking for food. Our cafeteria is open 24/7.

"Slap it on me sis"

Faith and Owen love chapstick and when ever Faith can she tries to assist Owen in doing anything and everything. Just some cute pics of the kids in action.

Danger....

Our little man has been cruising for a few months now, but about 3 weeks ago he started to try and climb everything. It is so not fun for mom. I have to watch his every move. He climbs up onto Faiths bed and use to somersault off but has learned how to turn around and climb down now (thank goodness). He climbs onto her rocking chair and tries to get to her dresser. He tries hard to climb onto the ottoman and couches. It is craziness. Not to mention he is into EVERYTHING! This little man has no fear and he never gives up on anything. He started to walk just over two weeks ago and WATCH OUT! Man, I have my work cut out for me that's for sure.

Ouch!

All with in a weeks time Faith fell down in our bathroom and cut her upper lip open, fell in the backyard and bit her check pretty bad, and then tripped in the house and bit her tongue pretty badly. It has been a rough one for her.

Just Be!

"Just Be" is a company that makes purses, bags, skirts, etc. and my family LOVES them! We either have or attend one of their parties every 3 months or more. Their items are beautiful! We (my sister Vicki and I) now have our daughters hooked!
