ChRiStMaS

Well you know the story, year after year it is told. Wake up, open gifts, go to family dragging the kids here and there, come home, clean up, crash (wears me out).

We had a great Christmas!

Girl's Par-tay!

Every Christmas and Summer I get together with some wild and crazy ladies. It is a blast! My sister Vicki has been going to this "girls party" for years and about 4 years ago she started to take me along. It is the funnest time. We eat lots of good food, play a crazy gift exchange game that can go on into the wee hours of the night, and then of course there is always some good girl smack! We have a great time and I look forward to it every year.

For Sale

As some of you may or may not know we have decided to sell our home. It has been for sale now for just over a month.

A few months ago my husband and I sat down and went over all of our finances to see where we are and what would be best for our family. My husband started his own company almost two years ago this March and it has been extremely slow for the last 4 months. With the decision to keep me home with our kids and live comfortably we decided to down size. We are looking for a home from Layton (where we are now) to Bountiful. We want a smaller home but with a little more square footage finished. With plans in the future to add a couple more kids and trying to get my husbands business up and running we felt it best to sell, get out of debt (except for a house payment,) make sure our kids had some life insurance, savings, and what not going, and to get our family savings and food storage in order so we can feel more secure about things. This was the best move. In this case if and when my husband is slow we will still be able to live and not feel like we are house poor all the time.

Although we absolutely LOVE the neighborhood and our ward we know that whereever we end up the Lord has something good in store for us and this is what we need to be doing at this time in our lives. It is very sad to leave this beautiful home we have built but we also realize there is a time and season in our lives. The next 5 years we plan to build our family and get secure. Then if all goes well we can build again and do thing's a bit better for us and our family.

Thing's are going really well and it's not the end of the world to us. We are happy and doing well and LOVE and adore our little kiddos. I wouldn't want to be any where else in the world except home with them.

I love you all and I hope everyone is doing well. Happy New Year and may this year bring you all a lot of love and happiness. We as a family are so excited for this new year, new beginnings, new goals, new adventures, and we are always excited to see where life takes us. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve was extremely relaxing for us. We went down to my parents in Bountiful and had dinner with them and my oldest sister Sonia and her two kids (Jaxson and Sarah). We had a fabulous dinner that Sonia prepared and then we let the kids open some gifts and watched the new movie "The Nativity Story". It was excellent, I highly recommend you all see it. Way good!

Any how, we had a nice evening and we finished off the night with a BANG (putting the kiddos gifts together). Yippee!

Rubber Duckie

Everyone has to have some tubbie time photo's of their kids.....SO ADORABLE!

Unfortunately, Owen chews on everything the same way he is chewing on that poor duck.

Beanie Babies

Our cute neighbor started to make beanies and he made one for Faith and Owen for Christmas. They are adorable! Needless to say the pictures will express how Owen feels about his......Mom on the other hand loves them, BIG THANKS!

My How They've Grown

Some of you may remember that in our family (the Workman's side) a lot of babies were born this past year. Owen has two close little cousin's whom we got together with the other day for lunch. Gracie was born exactly three weeks after Owen and she is about half his size (Owen is ALL boy for sure). Sky was born exactly three months after Gracie so almost four months younger then Owen. They are such adorable little one's and we love seeing them.

Cute Kidos!

Once again I feel I need to tell everyone I must have the cutest kids in the world :)
Here are a few fun shots of the two of them playing around the house. Owen is now 9 1/2 months old and he and Faith are starting to interact and play more and more together. It is the cutest darn thing. They will crawl around chasing each other, taking turns and they both scream and laugh all the while. Faith is always taking care of Owen and when he cry's she always says "it's OK Owie" or she runs to get him a toy to play with. He is always kissing him on the head or the hand and they both get so excited to see each other in the mornings or when waking from naps. SO CUTE!
Here's to my little angels.

Thanksgiving Weekend

OK, so I'm a slacker. Some times I just don't want to worry about taking pictures. I didn't take my camera with me to Thanksgiving dinner, but I did get some fun pictures when we went with our friends to see the Christmas lights at Temple Square over the Thanksgiving weekend. They will have to do.

Thanks for going with us Tippetts Family, we had a wonderful time and LOVED the donuts. See you all soon!
