Sadly enough all of us were sick the week of Christmas. It all started on Saturday night, Dec 18th. Little Faith began coughing at our Jackman Christmas party (thank goodness Lindsay and I already attended one party the night before and we still drug Faith to church the next day and then to the Bott party Sunday night because we weren't sure what was going on, thought it was a cold). It was all down hill from there. We all stayed in the house every day until Christmas and then Lindsay took the kids that day to his parents for Christmas fun and mom got to stay home. Faith laid on the couch for three straight days, then it was Lindsay's turn, and then mom got it just in time for Christmas. Little Owen was the strongest and only got a slight cough and runny nose through out the week and is still going strong. We were all back at it on Monday Dec 27th. It was a LONG week full of movies. Glad to be healthy agian!

Christmas time!!!!
The presents under the tree left for the kids.
This plate looked a lot nicer before it was munched on. We left cookies for Santa, carrots for reindeer and some cheese for Santa Mouse (little tradition I had when I was a child and I have carried it onto my children as well, there is a book called "Santa Mouse", read it some time, it's so cute!).
The kids were so excited and smiling from ear to ear, it is SO worth it!
Looking to see what was left in their stockings.
Faith's Loot!
Owen's Loot!
This is what has become of Faith since Christmas morning, not so sure it's a good thing.
Christmas pj's, opened on Christmas Eve of course.
Craft's the kids made; Faith made a reindeer and Owen a little baby Jesus. SO cute!

It's a GIRL!!!!! or is it!?!?!?!
Well, just as I thought. Going into the doctors today I knew my baby would hide from us just because they know their mom is a major planner and it would drive her crazy not knowing.
The baby looks good and healthy and this is what matters most but, ugh!!! The little thing wouldn't open it's legs. Tucked them tightly together and wouldn't budge. I tried moving them around and shacking, nothing worked!
Crazy thing is, they are SO active and kicking, punching me all the time. They were moving so much it was hard for them to get any still photo's. From what they could tell they were 80% sure it was a girl but they didn't want me to make any plans until they get a better shot because they said "you never know".
Any who.....we don't know until Jan now, so I am going with girl for a bit.

Gingerbread House
What do you get on a lazy Sunday afternoon right after everyone has had a nap - Messy hair and sloppy gingerbread house. ha!
Our annual gingerbread making. Mom was tired and lazy. She didn't put much into it and the kids ate more candy then what was actually put on the house. We all look AWESOME! Love lazy Sundays

Zoo Lights & Thanksgiving Point
Every year I attend a girls Christmas party and so this year while I was gone Lindsay took the kids to the Zoo Lights. Packed up the stroller, hot choc., snacks, and they were off. They saw Santa's reindeer walk through the park and all the pretty lights. The next week we went with our For Every Child family (adoption agency we adopted Faith through, we all get together a few times through out the year) to Thanksgiving Point and road by horse carriage through the lights. Then we had cookies and choc. milk. The kids had a blast! Love the lights and animals. So much fun!
Christmas Season Begins
YAY! My favorite time of year. This year the music began to play in the Workman house in November. We hung our outside lights the week of Thanksgiving and then decorated our Christmas tree and our home the Sunday after Thanks Giving. I love this holiday so much and figure it goes bye way to fast so we start enjoying it and learning about Christ in November. I was also ALL finished with my Christmas shopping come the first week of December (shopping on line is fabulous!). We have started our fun traditional festivities and each week we make a craft and visit some fun lights. Because of the early shopping though mom can HARDLY WAIT! I am so excited this year and it's killing me to wait so long. It will be here before we know it though. We are all enjoying the holiday season and we are all doing really well. Lindsay's business has been keeping him really busy for the last 4 months and we hope it keeps on going. This would be Christmas enough for me. Mom is feeling good with the baby. I am now 5 months along and the sickness is starting to diminish (thank goodness). Feeling a little more tired by the end of the day but all in all everyone is happy and healthy.
Here's to a wonderful and happy holiday season TO ALL!

Giving Thanks
This Thanksgiving was so wonderful. We were so fortunate to have two thanks giving dinners. One with my Family on Thursday and then with the Workman's on Friday. They were wonderful and the food was delicious of course. We are SO blessed to have such amazing and wonderful people to share this life with. Our families are so close and so wonderful! They are so much fun and such a blessing in our lives.
Some of the thing's I am truly grateful for are:
1 - My Lord and Savor Jesus Christ
2 - My Family
3 - To be a Mother
4 - The good health my family has been blessed with
5 - To wake each new day and start again :)
