"Just A Swingin"

Lindsay, my father Roger, and my brother in-law Bryan hit the big boy rides. They had just as much fun as the little kids at the park that day. Stuff like this keeps my dad feeling young.

This last picture was so cute! It's Lindsay, Bryan, and Bryan's son Ryker. Ryker was so cute and loved going on all the rides with his dad. He was such a good sport and dared to do all! Yes, that's his little bawled head.

LAGOON!

"It's what fun is!"

It was so much fun taking Faith to Lagoon this year. She was to small to remember anything last year. We walked into the park and her eye's went wide. She was riding on dad's shoulders and looking all around. I could tell by the look on her face she was trying to take it all in. She was smiling and in awe of everything around her.

She went on the kiddie rides and loved most of them. The only one she cried on, or had a problem with was the slow little tug boats. Maybe it wasn't fast enough for her. She seemed to love everything else. She especially loved watching her dad go on the "Big Swing". When he would pass over our heads she would scream "daddy, daddy" and laugh really loud. It was so cute.

My kid's were the best ever at Lagoon. Owen just sat in his stroller the whole time, I took him out twice to feed and then right back in. He smiled all the while and loved it all. I am so blessed!

It was a great day!
Thanks for the free tickets mom...... LOVES!!!!!

Mr. Smiley (he is always so happy).

"Priceless"

"Come Back Soon"

Grandpa Jackman's 80th

We had a great time celebrating with our Grandpa Jackman on his 80th birthday. We hope he is with us to celebrate many, many more.

Stick It!

Faith has a good time with post-it pads and stickers. She loves to stick things around the house and her newest idea, sticking them on Owen too.

Kids!

Happy Birthday Mom

We recently went out to The Gateway (where my mom works) and took her to lunch for her birthday. The kids loved it, there was free ice cream involved. Always a good time!

We love you mom!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all you do!

"BOUNCE"

Owen tried out his bouncer for the first time last week. He seems to dig it. This frees mom a little more now to, SO NICE!

What a cutie-pie!

Faith is always trying to teach and show Owen everything, he loves his sister and listens intently.

Let's Play

Faith loves to have her friends over to play in her new house and on her new slide. She was so excited when she saw dad through the window one day setting up her new play house. She gets so excited when the neighbors or anyone comes over to play in it with her. She loves it! Wants to play in it every day. Hopefully it will last for some time. Kids tend to loose interest so fast.

Teething

Owen has already begun teething (YEEEEEKS!). I know it could be months before seeing anything but he has a few fussy episodes in the afternoons when his mouth hurts. So not good. He has been such a good and happy baby (I call him my smiley guy) and now this. I hope we make it through. With Faith we never knew she was teething, her teeth would just appear. Owen on the other hand doesn't like the pain at all. Let's hope nothing pops through for another 6 months at least for the sake of nursing :)

Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we traveled down South to Moab, UT and then over to Grand Junction to spend the weekend with our good friends. This time, first time ever, we left Faith with Grandma and Grandpa Bott and just took Owen with us. I missed her the whole time and called each day to talk to her. It was hard leaving her but it's best for us and her in the long run. She needs time like this with her grandparents and she also needs to learn that mom and dad will be back.

I really enjoyed my weekend not having to chase Faith all around the pool and what not and Lindsay and I had some good time to bond with Owen. It turned out really nice but I was sure glad to see my baby girl when we got home.

We drove to Moab on Friday AM and spent the night at our best friends home. Then we drove with them and a group of friends (couples) to Grand Junction to stay the night at some of our other friends. They had a big pool party to open their pool up for the summer. We had a lot of friends join us. The party started at 1 PM and lasted until 1 AM and we all stayed at the home of our friends having the party (Brian and Theresa). They have a nice home with plenty of rooms. It was a BLAST! We then drove back to Moab after some shopping and lunch and spent another night with our friends there and headed home on Monday.

THANKS TO THE PAXMAN'S AND HODGES FOR HAVING US. We can't wait to do it all over again next year.

Big Girl Bed

About 3 weeks ago we decided to switch Faith's crib to her daybed (taking one side of her crib off). The bed is low enough for her to climb in and out. We thought this would be a good plan, NOT!

It was the hardest week of my life. After talking with many mothers I weighed the pros and cons and we ended up switching her back. Things are back to normal and she goes right to bed again sleeping through the night.

Maybe when she turns 2 years we will try it again. She is still to little to understand. I still haven't caught up sleep.
