3rd Care Package
The following are the items we are going to send Faith this week. The last package until we pick her up in four weeks (I love the sound of that!).
We thought we would send some of the clothes we have been given by some of Faith's family and friends (there are so many wonderful people waiting to welcome Faith home, she has no idea yet just how much love is waiting for her at home).
Some of the items are for 3-6 months and she will be turning 6 months on February 27th so we figure if Faith can't wear all of them then some of the other little children can use them. St. Lucy Center is always excepting donations to help provide for the little one's whether it's clothes, food or a money donation. Every little bit helps for sure.
We also thought we send a little treat for the staff at St. Lucy Center straight from good o'l Utah (salt water taffy). It's not much but we hope they enjoy it (I had to hold Lindsay back, he wanted to break into them and have some himself).
Well, over the next week Lindsay and I will be preparing all of our final documents that we will take with us to Taiwan. The day after we pick Faith up from St. Lucy Center we have an appointment at AIT (American Institute in Taiwan) to complete our application for a U.S. Visa on behalf of our newly adopted baby girl Faith. I have learned from other's who have gone before us that this appointment will take about an hour. They then process the documents and get it all ready and we return one more time (the next day) to pay our fee and pick up her papers to bring her home.
We have a few baby showers this week and then a few more next week. We hope to have all the baby furniture all set up in 2-3 weeks and ready to go in the nursery. This will leave us a good week or so to pack and do the rest of our shopping. Everything is coming together.
Thank you everyone SO MUCH for all of your love and support and your many, many prayers on our behalf. We are so blessed to know so many wonderful people. Faith is going to be the luckiest girl in the world.
We love you all SO MUCH, THANKS AGAIN AND AGAIN! Words can not express.
