IT'S STILL A GO!!!!!
Laura called us @ 9:20 PM last night and and told us that the documents were in the mail on Friday afternoon to Taiwan. She said they are due to arrive at St. Lucy's on Monday, February 26th @ 6 PM and they would be taking the documents in the next day (Tuesday) to submit everything for Faith's visa. Everything has and is going to work out and Laura said she would e-mail our itinerary today for March 12th (the day we go to St. Lucy's to pick up Faith). It will have the time we meet Sally in the morning, our flight info to Tainan, and our schedule for the day. SO EXCITING!
We will be heading to Bountiful on March 8th @ 7:30 AM to meet our parents so they can take us to the SLC airport to fly out.
On March 17th @ 6 PM (right after we return home with Faith) our agency, Families for Children, is having a Chinese New Year Celebration. We are so excited for this and plan to take Faith to meet all of her friends. She will be able to meet our counselor Laura and her fun family, our social worker, Suzanne Stout, who did our home study for the adoption; Sally (our translator) will be in SLC for the celebration so we will see her again. Faith will meet other families who have adopted through FFC and other little children who also lived at St. Lucy’s for a time. A few of them have just returned home this year and it will be fun to reunite them.
What a wonderful time in our lives. We are so blessed! This is the best birthday gift anyone could ask for!
