The Anping Fort (formerly know as "Fort Zeelandia"), built in 1624 and took ten years to build. This was their defense and trading foundation. They imported the bricks from abroad and took the oyster shell ash mixed with sugar cane juice and sticky rice as the mortar to glue the bricks and make the walls.
We climbed to the top of this fort and looked over the city/valley and took a few pictures.
