There was some great shopping as you come down from the Anping Fort on Old Street. This is a great place to sit and watch the locals, all kinds of local foods being cooked street side, lots of little booths and beautiful material everywhere. We stopped at a nice little restaurant (we were told it was VERY popular) and had lunch, sat at very small/low tables with low chairs and had a local treat. We bought our first dress for Faith here.
Laura recommended we shop here and it was a great shopping spot, we enjoyed it much more then most the night markets and shopping alley's any where else on the trip.
