Touring: Fish Market

In the late afternoon we went to the coast to the fish market to watch all the crazy people buy raw fish. They use every single piece of every single animal in Taiwan when it comes to cooking. The feet, head, you name it, it was wrapped up and for sale. EEK!

Our mission was to buy crab because we love crab so much but their crab was not like the king crab legs at Red Lobster or McGrath's. No sir. They were little whole crabs and they were work when we tried to eat them.

Lindsay and I tried something interesting this day and I think it was Lindsay's breaking point when it came to trying all the local food and getting the whole Taiwan experience. After this any smell or site of raw food made Lindsay queasy... he he!

We tried chicken's feet, the scaly skin you find at the foot of a chicken, yup! Cut up and soaked in some strong marinate sauce, wow! Lindsay was shocked I tried it, he about lost it when he popped it in his mouth so he slowly turned around and spit it into his hand and with out anyone seeing him he dropped it on the street. It was so funny!

At the end of the day Margaret's family had us over for a sea food feast. Very interesting menu to say the least. It was so kind of them and we had a wonderful time!
